Helping individuals and teams gain insight, develop strengths and drive performance

My Approach

I became a coach to help leaders better understand and utilize their unique strengths to be more effective and fulfilled in their work.

My Core Beliefs

Leadership is about “being” more than “doing:”

It’s often harder to develop a leadership mindset than it is to master specific leadership skills- coaching can help leaders gain greater self-awareness and resilience

Change is counterintuitive:

Our strengths in one phase are often the very things that cause us trouble when we transition to something new- coaching can help develop critical “new muscles” for new challenges

Leaders need a sounding board:

Leaders can easily get isolated, and this often leads to burnout. Coaching provides a space for reflection, the opportunity to test ideas and ultimately build a “toolkit” for taking effective action

Examples Of Coaching Engagements

In each engagement, Jay works with the client to clearly identify meaningful goals, a clear plan of action and, ultimately, a renewed sense of opportunity.
